About Us

Chris Watson has been running his own successful Green Matters Garden services for nearly twenty years, but his vision was always to cultivate and supply keenly priced quality plants. That ambition has been realised with the acquisition of respected Suffolk nursery, Pauger’s Plants, now re-named Watson’s Plants, nestled in the beautiful Suffolk countryside five miles from Bury, and ten miles from both Newmarket and Haverhill.

Chris is turning his professional knowledge, experience and passion, to take the nursery onto the next level, by increasing the selection, scale and range of shrubs, trees and garden plants. But crucially, providing helpful, practical advice - rooted in friendly expertise.

In this exciting new venture, Chris is joined by his wife Lulu, plus Matt & Simon. They realise the importance of gardens to nurture our physical and emotional well-being.
